We all know the struggle. Protein is easy to choose, but then the question for your low carb dinner or low carb recipe is: WHAT LOW CARB SIDE TO MAKE? It is always the difficult one for me in my low carb lifestyle. Well these low carb zucchini sticks are where it is at! These keto zucchini sticks couldn’t be easier to make and they taste unbelievable!
You can make as many or as little of these lchf zucchini sticks as you like. Simply cut up the zucchini (which is a very low carb vegetable as it is), cut it into French fries type shapes (I call them low carb zucchini sticks, but call them low carb zucchini fries if you like – but they are not fried, only baked). Once done, add olive oil, salt and some delicious shredded parmesan cheese to the banting zucchini sticks and in the oven they go for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, the ketogenic zucchini sticks are ready to get some colour to them. Then pop the low carb zucchini sticks (or low carb zucchini fries if you so choose to call them) under the broiler or grill until you see a golden brown colour. It only takes a few minutes for these keto zucchini sticks (keto zucchini fries) to get that amazing colour, so keep a close eye on the low carb zucchini sticks.
These have to be one of my absolute favourite low carb side not only because of its amazing taste (it has a texture similar to regular French fries) but you just can’t be how easy these low carb zucchini sticks are. No one wants to spend hours on just one keto side or lchf side to your wonderful. It is all about practicality here at the Keto King and this banting side / ketogenic side is as delicious as it is practical! While this may not, at the outset, look like an amazing, ground breaking low carb recipe or keto recipe, it serves the function I am trying to achieve – helping all you low carbers living a keto, low carb, banting or lchf lifestyle have low carb recipes that are quick, fit into your busy lifestyle and that ACTUALLY WORK!
I tell you, give these low carb zucchini sticks a go, and add it to your low carb or keto arsenal of foods. I promise you will be thanking me when you do.
