Low carb Christmas cookies! Does it get any better?! These keto Christmas cookies are really easy to make, taste great and can be completely customized. Low carb cookies or keto cookies have never been easier or tastier!

To start out with, these easy low carb cookies (or easy low carb Christmas cookies) are made using sunflower seed flour! Yes, these easy keto Christmas cookies (or easy keto cookies) drop the almond flour and use sunflower seed flour. I hear all the comments asking for substitutions for almond flour and I found a recipe that works without any almond flour.

Now I call this low carb recipe both low carb Christmas cookies and low carb cookies because you can really make these keto cookies at ANY TIME of the year! Make them at Christmas time, when you have a ton of family around and want to share the keto goodness, then call them keto Christmas cookies. And in that case, I’d double or even quadruple the low carb recipe to make more. The amount of low carb Christmas cookies wasn’t huge and the easy low carb cookies are quite small too. Perfect for me, 1 or 2 low carb cookies is enough to kill any sweet tooth, feel like I’m ‘indulging’ in the festive season, all while keeping my low carb, keto, lchf or banting lifestyle in track! These easy low carb Christmas cookies would fit perfectly into a keto, lchf, banting or general low carb lifestyle!

The glaze or icing for these keto Christmas cookies is just so easy to make. It looks amazing and gives the keto cookies a really nice touch. The family are going to think you are a masterchef! You can also change the colour of the icing for these easy low carb Christmas cookies but simply adding a few drops of food colouring to the low carb icing or low carb glaze. Green and red would work wonderfully for the Christmas season! Once the icing has hardened slightly, these easy low carb cookies look magnificent!

1/2 cup Sunflower Seed Flour (simply grind up sunflower seeds in blender) (58g / 2oz)
1/8 cup Coconut Flour (14g/0.4oz)
1/6 cup Sweetener of your choice (14g/0.4oz)
1/4 cup / ½ stick of softened Butter (57g/2oz)
1/2 a scrambled egg
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Powdered sweetener of your choice (simply grind up a granulized sweetener in blender)
Heavy or Whipping Cream until desired consistency reached
Food colouring (optional)

Macros for entire low carb Christmas cookies batch (using the quantities in video):
Calories: 806
Fat: 80g
Net Carbs: 9g (17g total carbs – 8g fiber)
Protein: 16g

Macros per serving of low carb Christmas cookie (assuming 16 cookies):
Net Carbs:0.5g (1g total carbs – 0.5g fiber)
Protein: 1g
