Keto Recipe – Chili Lime Meatballs

This is a great change in flavor from the regular meals I usually make that are rich and hearty. These meatballs are extremely fresh and flavorful in their own way, bringing the bell pepper and lime to the forefront of each and every bite. They were such a treat to have while the snow was blowing outside, reminding us that spring is just around the corner.

You can even serve these as a party appetizer like I did by adding a dab of guacamole underneath the meatballs and then sticking a skewer through them. Or, you know, a toothpick if you don’t have any of those fancy mini-skewers. They work wonders and people just love them.

Low Carb Chili Lime Meatballs



The Meatballs

– 1 lb. Ground Chicken (90%/10%)
– 2 tbsp. Flaxseed Meal
– 2 tbsp. Almond Flour
– 2 medium Spring Onions, chopped
– 1/2 medium Red Bell Pepper
– 2 tbsp. Cilantro, chopped
– 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
– 1/2 tsp. Salt
– 1/2 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
– 1/2 medium Lime, juice and zest
– 2 oz. Cheddar Cheese

The Guacamole

– 1 medium Avocado
– 1/2 medium Lime, juice
– 1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
– Salt & Pepper to Taste

Nutrition Summary:

This makes 3 servings of Low Carb Chili Lime Meatballs. Each serving comes out to be 428 Calories, 31.3g Fats, 4.7g Net Carbs, and 33.7g Protein.
